Join young men and women from across the state at the 2023 Young Farmers & Ranchers Leaders Conference. The event will focus on connecting you with practical tools and resources to add value to your daily work, expanding your peer and professional network and providing encouragement and motivation to keep pushing forward in a tough time for agriculture. Register here.
The Young Farmers & Ranchers program offers opportunities for KFB members between the ages of 18 and 35 years old to connect with their peers through activities, issues and projects geared toward the younger agriculture audience. Get a taste of what’s out there at the annual YF&R Leaders Conference on the last weekend of January, participate in a competition and get involved in local activities.
The Young Farmers and Ranchers program is designed to surface and develop the next generation of agriculture leaders.  The opportunities for leadership growth are developed and implemented at the county, state, and national levels. YF&R also provides opportunities to network, educate, advocate, lead and serve.
Some of the events include ag tours, agricultural promotions, contests, legislative meetings, and social gatherings. Contact the county office if you are interested in this program. Statewide information can be found on the KFB website at www.kfb.org.
The Future Farmers of America (FFA) program continues to grow in Sedgwick, County. The National FFA Organization remains committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
